The AI-Driven SL Community Talk Series is a flagship initiative by AI Driven SL, organized in collaboration with IEEE Student Branches from leading Sri Lankan universities to foster AI knowledge sharing, hands-on learning, and real-world application.
Held over 3 months, the series features a blend of virtual sessions focused on designing, developing, and deploying AI agents using real-world use cases.

Each university co-hosts a session, encouraging peer-driven learning and cross-campus collaboration. With participation limited to 200 students prioritizing 50 from each hosting university, the series ensures quality engagement, expert mentorship, and impactful experiences that bridge the gap between academic theory and practical AI implementation.

AI Community Talk Series 2024 by AI Driven Sri Lanka was a dynamic and inspiring knowledge-sharing initiative that brought together aspiring AI enthusiasts, professionals, and academics through a series of engaging virtual sessions. Spanning across multiple months and hosted in collaboration with leading IEEE Student Branches and industry partners, the 2024 edition explored real-world AI applications, from foundational concepts to advanced practices. Participants gained invaluable insights from expert-led sessions including LLM Career Strategies, Automated Testing with CI for LLMs, Face Tracking under Challenging Illumination, and NLP Fundamentals.
Special highlights included the "Empowering Tomorrow: Future-Ready AI & Innovation" session with iVedha Inc., and a deep-dive into Large Language Models (LLMs). With real-world case studies, hands-on learning, and opportunities to engage with top minds in AI, the 2024 Community Talk Series continued to fulfill its mission of bridging the gap between theory and application equipping participants to lead the future of AI in Sri Lanka and beyond.
